Police are appealing for witnesses aftera firearms discharge in Salford.
At around 11.10pm on Wednesday 14thJanuary 2015, police were called to an address on Crescent Drive, LittleHulton following reports of loud bangs being heard.
Officers attended and following a search,police discovered a number of shots had been fired at a house on CrescentDrive.
Police are now investigating.
Detective Inspector Ben Hart said: “Followingenquiries, we now believe a number of men had been seen near to the houseand following the firearm being discharged, they ran towards Albany Close.
“I would ask anyone who may have beenin the Crescent Drive, Albany Close or Clegg Lane between 10.30pm and 11.30pmto contact police as soon as possible.
“Thankfully, no one was injured andwe have stepped up patrols in the area for reassurance to the local community.”
“Following early lines of enquiry,we believe that the damaged address was targeted in error by those responsible.”
