Two teenagers from Paisley who died after the car they were travelling in crashed in Langbank in Renfrewshire, have been named by Police Scotland today.

Adam Crawford, 19-years, was driving and Liam Whiteford, 18-years, was a passenger in a Seat Ibiza which left the carriageway and hit a tree on Old Greenock Road.

The boys had left college a short time before the accident and were driving home from a painting and decorating course at James Watt College in Paisley, when the crash happened. One teenager who was traveling in the back seat was treated in hospital for minor injury’s, he was later released.

It happened between Finlaystone Estate and Gleddoch House, near Greenock at about 3:45 on Thursday afternoon.
