Glasgow bin lorry crashes at high speed into Christmas shoppers

At least six people have died after a bin lorry crashed into a group of pedestrians in Glasgow’s George Square.

Eyewitnesses have reported, that the bin lorry was moving at high speed through Queen Street at 14:30hrs before crashing into the millenium hotel and hitting pedestrians.

It is beleived the bin lorry driver took unwell before crashing.

Emergency services are in attendence.
