Two men have been left seriously injured following an explosion in South Birmingham.

Emergency services responded to the incident at a Flat in Aldersmead Road, West Heath.

The cause of the explosion is currently unknown.

Two men in there 20s or early 30s have been taken to hospital.

Police have placed an exclusion zone around the property and closed nearby roads.
