Woman dies at Asda filling station in Linwood 1

images (9)A 17 year old woman has died after a collision at an Asda petrol station in Linwood.

Police said the 17 year old woman was filling her car which was a Renault Clio with fuel at about 14:30 when it was struck by another car on the forecourt.

Eilish Herron, who was from Paisley in Scotland, had died at the forecourt.

Police inquiries are continuing and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

Police Scotland traffic unit, has appealed for anyone with information to call 101.
