CCTV images released after man assaulted in Preston nightclub

POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an assault at a Preston nightclub earlier this month.

The incident took place at around 3.30am on Sunday 14 September in Evoque nightclub, Church Street when an 18 year old local man was punched to the right hand side of his face, causing him to fall to the floor and lose consciousness.

The following day the victim attended Royal Preston Hospital where he received treatment for a fractured jaw.

PC Katherine Jolly of Preston Police said: “This was an unprovoked attack on the dance floor which left the victim with a fractured jaw. I am particularly keen to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV footage and I would urge anyone who recognises him to contact us. I would also appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the attack or who may have any information that could assist with our investigation to come forward.”
