Armed robbers have held up a hotel in Westminster making off with a quantity of cash and mobile phones.

Officers responded to the incident at Dean House on Dean Street, Westminster following reports two masked men entered the hotel armed with guns.

The masked men entered and demanded cash, staff were threatened and one male employee was tied up.

No one was injured and no shots were fired during the incident

One male was treated for shock.

The suspects were described as speaking with east European accents and were wearing white hoodies.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, was in the area at the time or has information that could assist officers is asked to call 101.
