The father of missing five-year-old Ashya King has uploaded a family statement to YouTube.

Brett King has given an explanation explaining why he had taken his son from Southampton Hospital and out of the United Kingdom.

Brett gives the main reason as the NHS not offering proton beam treatment forcing the family to seek the treatment the selfs.

He continues to say the family have been treat like criminals in the media, forced to be refugees with an international police hunt for the family.

He confirmed he was not coming back to England as they cannot give their son the treatment he needs.
