Two arrested after man stabbed to death in late night row

Detectives Investigating a murder which occurred in Lee, London SE12 on Sunday August 10th have arrested two teenagers.

Police arrested a 17-year old boy today (Tuesday August 12th,) he is currently being held in police custody at a south London police station.

Yesterday Monday August 11th police arrested a 17 year-old boy on suspicion of murder he currently remains in police custody.

Officers were called by London Ambulance Service at 21.46 on Sunday 10 August to Eltham Road, SE12 to reports of a man suffering from stab wounds.

Police and London Ambulance Service attended to find a 26-year-old man suffering from stab wounds to the chest.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Next of kin have been informed. We await formal identification.

A post mortem examination carried out on Monday, 11 August, gave the cause of death as hemorrhage and stab wounds to heart and aorta.

The investigation is being led by Detective Chief Inspector Diane Tudway from the Homicide and Major Crime Command.
