Police have warned members of the public not to approach two men who have escaped HMP Kirkham open prison in Lancashire.

Philip Stephenson aged 33 is serving a sentence for firearms offences and burglar.

Gareth Robinson aged 22 is also missing from the same prison.

Police believe they both fled together in a silver Volkswagen Golf.

Police have warned members of the public not to approach them and contact police on 999 if seen or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
