Police appealed to trace a man who has a contagious disease, he has now been returned to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

Themes Valley Police have said David Goodwin aged 49 from the Oxford area was receiving treatment at a specialist hospital for contagious disease, when he vanished.

Police were extremely concerned for David’s whereabouts and had warned members of the public not to approach him or make contact with him.

David is suffering from the contagious tuberculosis disease, he is now back in hospital receiving treatment.
