Cleveland Police have carried out an armed operation in Grangetown and Eston resulting in the arrsest of two local men.
Police have confirmed both men have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
On Friday 18th July at approximately 4.30pm two shots were fired at a door in Eglington Road, Grangetown.
This morning Sunday July 20th a number of addresses in the Grangetown and Eston area have been searched and investigations will continue across the day at these locations.
Anyone who has information in relation to the incident which occurred on Friday 18th is urged to contact police on 101
