Cleveland Police have issued more information in relation to wanted man Cezar Florea in connection with an attempted rape which left a woman with serious injuries.
The search for the 26-year-old Romanian has connections to Stockton, Middlesbrough and London.
Police want to speak to him in connection with the attempted rape of a 51-year-old woman who was walking to work at 6am on Saturday June 7th. on the A66 North Ormesby flyover near Lytton Street.
The victim required hospital treatment after she was seriously assaulted which left her with a broken shoulder and nose.
Detective Inspector Mark Dimelow, from Middlesbrough Major Crime Team, said: “We are still keen to speak to Cezar Florea in connection with an attempted rape in North Ormesby which happened early last month. Officers are working through any information that comes in and we are asking the public to keep their eyes peeled for him.
“The photograph issued today is taken from social media and we know that it was taken just a few months ago. Anyone with information on where he may be is asked to contact police as a matter of urgency.”
Members of the public are asked not to approach him, but to call 999 if they see him.
