Police is Colchester have arrested a 19-year-old teenager after two horrific murder linked.

University Nahid Almanea was stabbed 16 times as she walked down a path in a busy Colchester street on Tuesday morning at 10.30am.

Police believed the murder is also linked to an incident in which James Attfield was stabbed 100 times. 

Police have arrested a 19-year-old at midnight following a third attack, A female jogger was approached and grabbed on Peache Road in Colchester at 10PM on June 19th.

She put up a fight and made her way home and immediately contacted Police.

Essex Police have confirmed the male was further arrested at 4pm today in relation to the murder investigation that is ongoing.
