A 59-year-old male has sadly died after having collapse in the high street at a popular Kirking of the Council Parade in Perth, Scotland.

The incident occurred at 10.30am on June 8th 2014, Local police officers and members of the public assisted with first aide until an ambulance arrived at the scene.

Sadly the male was pronounced deceased shortly after his arrival to Perth Rotay Infirmary.

Police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances.
