Cleveland Police are appealing to witnesses after 200 cigarettes were stolen during a burglary in Guisborough.

The incident occurred on Northgate, Tuesday June 17th at approximately 4pm.

The victim aged 64 noticed 200 cigarettes had disappeared from his kitchen.

During the day a man had been to his address twice asking for cigarettes, offering the man one single cigarette each time.

The man is described as tall.
Any one who may have witnessed a man acting suspiciously in the area on anyone with further information is asked to call PC Gareth Davies on the non-emergency 101 number or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
