Essex police have recovered 38 knives in the search following the murder of a student in Colchester.

Police confirmed the news as Crimestoppers put up a reward following the brutal murder of Nahid Alamanea.

The reward will be offered following the arrest and conviction of the murderer.

Nahid was stabbed 16 times as she walled to university on June 17th.

Police continue to investigate the links between her murder and that of James Attfield who was stabbed 102 times.
