Police have launched an investigation following a suspicious incident in the Intu Derby shopping centre.

They have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following the incident.

It follows the mother of a toddler was walking into boots her 22-month-old boy was toddling a short distance behind her.

A male walked up and grabbed the toddlers hand and attempted to lead him away before his mother turned around and confronted him.

He said sorry and walked away

Anyone with information leading to the identification of this male is requested to contact Derbyshire Police on 101, incident number 188 of May 8th.
