Local Sources have confirmed they believe that the Armed Robbery of the Chelsea Building Society, was that of wanted Fugitive Michael Wheatley, confirming it to be ‘the man off the telly’.

Surrey and Kent Police will not at this time confirm the link to the incident as however Kent Police have confirmed they are looking in to the possibility they are linked.

Michael Wheatley nicknamed the Skull Cracker disappeared who is serving 13 life sentences disappeared while released on day release five days ago.

Chelsea Building Society was this morning held up by a male with a hand pistol around 10.30am.

Armed Police remain at the scene of the incident.
