Police link incident after second girl grabbed in park

Suffolk Police have launched an investigation following an incident in which an 11-year-old girl was approached by an unknown male in Felixstowe.

The incident happened at 8.24am on the morning of Friday May 2nd, close to Kingsfleet Road at the entrance to Coronation Park.

It is believed that the young school girl was approached by the male who engaged the girl in conversation, he requested to know the name and age of the girl.

she asked the male to leave her alone, he walked away from the male in an attempt to get away from him.

The male followed her, but then turned around and waited at the entrance to the park, when she exited the park he made an inappropriate comment and attempted to grab her skateboard.

The girl ran off from the scene, the girl hid for 5 – 10 minutes until she believed she was safe.

The male is described as Black aged in his twenties, between 5ft 9in and 6ft tall. He is of a skinny build with short hair, he was clean shaven and had a gold tooth.

He was wearing an ear ring on the left side which is believed to be a skull and crossbones, he had a gold ring on his left ring finger and a sliver watch on his right wrist.

Police have linked the incident to a incident which occurred on Sunday April 27th in which a 12-year-old girl was approached.
