Cleveland Police have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a male with serious injuries.

The dead male is believed to be in his 20s was discovered in the Greenway, Thorntree in Middlesbrough at 11.30pm on Thursday May 8th.

He was rushed to James Cook Hospital but was later pronounced dead.

Cleveland Police have quickly launched an immediate investigation resulting in a 19 and 30 year old men being arrested on suspicion if murder.

They are currently being questioned in police custody.

Anyone with information is requested to contact Cleveland Police on 101.
