    Woman left with cuts after Spensley's assault

    Cleveland Police are appealing for information following an incident in Middlesbrough.

    Police attended an incident on Albert Road in Middlesbrough outside of Spensley’s.

    An argument occurred between a man and a 23-year-old woman.

    The incident occurred at 2am on Bank Holiday Monday, 21st April.

    The man and woman then got into a taxi and the woman was then allegedly assaulted, leaving her with cuts.

    An 18-year-old man was charged with assault and was remanded to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 22nd April.

    Any witnesses to the incident or anyone with further information is asked to contact DC Dan Heron on the non-emergency 101 number or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
