Teenager in serious condition following easter sunday collision

A teenager is in a serious condition after a collision in Bolton.

Just before 10.50am on Sunday 20 April, a man in his 80s fell ill at the wheel as he was driving down Chapeltown Road, Bromley Cross.

There was a collision with a girl, believed to be 15-years-old, and she was taken by air ambulance to Manchester Royal Infirmary.

She suffered head injuries and is in a serious but stable condition.

The man was also taken to hospital and is in a serious but stable condition.
