A male driver has had a lucky escape after veering off the A259 and plummeting down an 80ft cliff in Roedean near Brighton, East Sussex.
The incident happened just after midnight on Sunday morning.
And incredibly a man escaped without serious injury after his car went over the cliff near Roedean just after midnight & ended up in the sea

In the miracle incident the driver managed to miss the promenade beneath and land on water minimising the forceful impact.
22 emergency service workers attended the scene fearing the worst, they discovered the driver wasn’t in the car, finding him nearby without any serious injury.

The man needed rescued by ladder and ropes from the location he became stranded within.
Emergency crews used ladders and ropes to rescue the man.
