A North Lanarkshire teenage boy has been hospitalized and is in intensive care after taking what may have been the Mortal Kombat ecstasy pill over the weekend.

The 16 yr old is said to be in a serious but stable condition after falling ill at a house party in Coatbridge, Scotland on Saturday night.

Police have issued warnings about the red ecstasy pills, following the death of 17 yr old Regane MacColl back in February.
