Reports of Crimes involving social media sites Facebook and Twitter are on the rise in 2013.

Figures revealed today that there were 1291 reported crimes related to social media site Twitter.

While Facebook showed shockingly 13,019 reports of crime have been made connected to Facebook.

It is unknown how many of those crimes reported lead to a criminal conviction.
