Police are appealing for witnesses after a 39-year-old man was robbed at knife-point in Doncaster.

The victim was in a car park at the back of Silver Street when he was approached by a man who demanded he hand over cash.

It happened just before 11.15am on Wednesday 5 February and the suspect made off with the victim’s wallet.

The man was not injured but was left incredibly shaken by the ordeal.

The suspect is described as white, about 5ft 5ins tall, of slim buld, and was wearing jeans and a black jacket with his hood up.

Officers are keen to speak to witnesses or anyone who saw a man matching the description acting suspiciously in the area.

Anyone with information is asked to call South Yorkshire Police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 364 of 5 February.bnl
