Police can confirm that the body found yesterday (5th February) at around 4pm has been identified as Peter Millican, aged 46, from Abbey Road, Barrow.

He was found in the water at Askam pier. Police are not treating his death as suspicious.

Details have been passed to the Coroner, and his family are being supported at this difficult time.
