Greater Manchester Police have launched an investigation after a man was left in a critical condition following a pub attack in Middleton.
Police attended the incident at 2.10am on Sunday February 16th, Following reports a 37-year-ole man was assaulted outside a pub call the Asshenton Arms on Market Place.
The man was rushed to hospital in what Police have described to Breaking News Police as in a critical condition with his injuries are believed to be life threatening.
Police are appealing for information and witnesses.
Detective Constable Dan Daly said: “There were a number of people at the pub at the time of the attack, both inside and outside, and we would ask that these people come forward and tell police what they may have seen or heard.
“We would ask anyone who has any information about who may be involved to call us urgently.”
