Cleveland Police have launched an investigation following the Unprovoked attack on a 22 year old man in Middlesbrough.

The male was set upon by a group of up-to five people at 5.45am Thursday, February 14th on College Road in Middlesbrough.

Leaving the male with a broken jaw. He required surgery at James Cook University Hospital.

Any witnesses to the incident or anyone with further information regarding it is asked to contact PC Jonathan Burniston on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
