POLICE have charged a man with witness intimidation in connection with the intimidation of a witness in relation to the murder of Mark Denton.

Harry Brogden appeared at Hartlepool Magistrates court charged with two separate allegations of intimidation of two female witnesses.

Brogden is accused of intimidating the witnesses by appearing at an address on January 28th.

He is further charger with intimidating another witness by attending her address between 17th and 27th January 2014

The magistrate remanded Brogden Of Howard Street, Headland, Hartlepool in custody.

He pleaded not guilty.
