A female body has been found in a rural area in Argyll, prompting an investigation by Scottish police. The remains were found near the Arrochar area of Argyll on Thursday January 9 and it is believed they are of a female. It is believed the remains were not buried and the body was badly decomposed. The body was found in woodland off a track road near the A83 west of Arrochar, which is a few mile from Loch Lomond. Police Scotland have said “The inquiry is at a very early stage and nothing further is available at this time.”
