A Dunfermline woman has been arrested for attempted murder

Police are investigating the attempted murder of a taxi driver in Dunfermline, Scotland.

Police have detained a 46-year-old woman and is in questioning

Police officers said the 59-year-old male taxi driver suffered serious injuries as a result of the incident, which happened in Appin Crescent in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police Scotland said the detained woman is from the Dunfermline area.
