Scottish Police have started an investigation after a 14 -month old baby was seriously injured in a house in Limefield, Edinburgh over the weekend.

The baby boy was taken to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children and is getting treated for a brain injury. The young boy is in a stable condition and further tests are to be carried out.

Scottish Police have said : ‘The investigation is at an early stage at this time’.
