Police are urgently appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of 31 year old Pawel Edward Niemstak.

He was last seen at his home address in Howden Walk in Stockton at around 6am yesterday morning, Tuesday 31st December.

He is described as white, with a medium complexion, of large build, with short dark hair and a dark goatee beard.

He was last seen wearing a pair of blue jeans, a blue T-shirt with Royal Cars written on it, and a dark blue or black fleece with a Royal Cars logo on it.

Mr Niemstak is originally from Poland and speaks English with a Polish accent.

He has a red Ford Mondeo with him, registration BN59 GXR with Royal Cars written on the side. He may be either in the Hartlepool or Portrack areas.

Police are particularly concerned for his welfare and would ask anyone who may have seen him to contact the non-emergency number 101.
