Two arrested at anti-fracking protests

Two people were arrested on Wednesday 15 January 2014 following anti-fracking protests in Salford.

At about 6.55pm police were called to the site at Barton Moss following reports protesters were obstructing vehicles entering the site.

A short time later threats were made towards staff during a shift change over.

Two men were arrested for threats to kill, they both remain in police custody for questioning.
