Emergency services were called to a crash involving three cars in Great Horkesley.
The crash happened around 2pm today in Green Lane.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “The road has been closed from Boxted Road through to Blackbrook Road.”
Three people have been taken to Colchester General Hospital with minor injuries.
The road has just been reopened
