Police in Swansea are appealing to trace the driver of a vehicle which failed to stop after a collision with a pedestrian.

The incident happened just before 7.15pm on Wednesday 22nd January when a 35-year-old man was struck by an unknown vehicle as he crossed the road from Christina Street from the Andrew Price hairdressers in the general direction of St Helen’s Road.

The offending vehicle is described as being ‘big, possibly a Land Rover’ which continued along up Christina Street after the collision.

The man was left with a leg injury which has required treatment at Morriston Hospital.

Police are continuing their investigation into the incident and are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting occurrence number 62140021511.
