Sixty Cleveland Fire fighters face the axe

Today Fire fighters across Teesside are facing the risk of loosing their job as Cleveland Fire Brigade have announced upto 60 Fire fighters will could go, Allowing brigade chief officer to save £6 Million.

The cuts will see less Fire Fighters and Less Fire Stations in Teesside with the closure of Marine Fire Station in Middlesbrough and Stockton Fire Station.

Cleveland Fire Authority has now launched an extensive six-week public consultation on its Community Integrated Risk Management Plan 2014-2018.
