Thousands of pounds worth of drugs and cash was seized during a warrant in north Manchester.
On Wednesday 22 January 2014, a warrant was executed at a house on Bellott Street, Cheetham Hill.
Officers went inside the home and seized cannabis and cocaine with the estimated street value of £150,000. Over £100,000 pounds in cash was also found.
A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of money laundering and possession of drugs with intent to supply. He remains in police custody for questioning.
Detective Sergeant Liam Boden said: “Drugs make people’s lives a misery and reduce the quality of everyday life for local residents, which is why it is so important for us to remove them and act on the information the public provides us.
“I hope this arrest shows our local community that we do not tolerate drugs being dealt and that we are dedicated to improving the neighbourhoods we live in.
“If you have any information in relation to where drugs are being sold or produced, I would ask you to contact police. The information you supply will be dealt with in the strictest of confidence.”
