Police arrest man following incident

At around 8:20pm last night (11th January) police received a call with concerns for a man’s welfare at Castle Street, Kendal.

He was initially outside a property causing a disturbance, and then retired to within the property. Police responded, concluding in a peaceful resolution.

There was no danger to any third party, or members of the public, and no one was injured during the incident.

The man, aged 55 from Kendal, was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and received a caution.
