Police in Carlisle are appealing for any information regarding the whereabouts of a woman who has gone missing from the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle.

Her name at this time is unknown but she is described as a white, young-looking female of average build in her mid-to-late twenties. She has dark collar-length hair and is believed to be wearing a green jumper, black trousers and calf length zip-up black boots. It is also believed that she does not wear glasses.

It is believed she went missing at around 7am this morning (17th January).

Police believe that she has access to a car.

Anyone who has seen a woman matching this description or has any information is asked to contact Cumbria Police on 101.
