A hartlepool man has been give a life sentence for setting fire to the house of a father of three.

Paul Nash aged 30 had admitted to the manslaughter of Andrew Simon’s after setting fire to his house in Dent Street on the 11th June 2013.

Andrew Simons was found in the house and later died in hospital.

At Teesside Crown Court Nash, of no fixed address, was told he must serve a minimum of 10 years.
