The family of missing Riccall man, Simon Hodgson Greaves have provided a new photograph of Simon as police enquiries continue into his disappearance.
Simon was reported missing after his camper van was found in the RSPB car park at Bempton Cliffs near Bridlington on 21 December 2013. However, despite extensive searches in the area there has been no trace of him.
Simon is described as white, around 6ft tall, with a slim build. He has sandy coloured hair, a greying beard and moustache, blue eyes and wears spectacles. It is not known what he will be wearing, however, he is known to dress very smartly and often wears tweed jackets, shirts and scarves.
If you believe you have seen Simon or know where he is now, please contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 1 and pass information to the Force Control Room.
The Missing People charity can be contacted on 116 000, the line is open 24 hours a day and information can be passed confidentially.
Last week Simon’s mum and his sisters, Julia, Rachel and Kate, issued the following message to Simon in the hope that he will get in touch.
“Simon, we hope that you are safe and well and we ask that you contact either the police or one of us to let us know that you are. We miss you very much and we can help sort out anything if you will only talk to us.
“Just also to let you know that mum is not well again and would really like to see you as soon as possible please.
“Thinking of you and hoping we will see you very soon. Lots of love, Mum, Julia, Rachel and Kate.”
Extensive searches have been carried out by the police, volunteer search and rescue teams, the RNLI, officers from Humberside Police, the National Police Air Service, and the RAF in the area around Bempton Cliffs.
