Police were called to a house at Carlow Street in Middlesbrough at 3.45am on Saturday 25th January 2014, where the body of a man has been found.

A murder investigation is underway and a post mortem examination will be carried out to establish the circumstances of the man’s death.

House to house and forensic enquiries are being carried out as part of the investigation. The scene is currently sealed off.

A 26 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.

Police would appeal to anyone who may have information about the incident to contact the non-emergency number 101.
