A Manchester man is unlawfully at large after failing to return to HMP Sudbury.

Michael Ossai (45) failed to return following release on temporary leave on January 4.

Ossai was sentenced at Manchester Crown Court on April 29, 2005 to 16 years and six months for conspiracy to commit robbery, assault and driving offences.

He is described as black, six feet tall, of large build, bald, with brown eyes and a Manchester accent.

His last known address is in Heywood, Greater Manchester.

Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of this man is asked not to approach him but to immediately contact their local police or Crimestoppers anonymously 0800 555 111.
