Man fights for life after Whinney Banks incident

Cleveland Police have today confirmed it has launched an investigation after a 42-year-old man is fighting for his life in intensive care after he was discovered with head injuries in Middlesbrough.

Police received a call around 7.45pm last night (30th January 2014) alerting them to the discovery of the male on the junction of Weatherhead Avenue and Acklam Road at 7.45PM.

Police attended the scene and immediately placed a police cordon in place to secure forensic evidence.

Cleveland Police and Scenes Of Crime Officers remain at the scene today.

The 42-Year-Old male remain at James Cook Hospital in Intensive care.
