A 30-year-old man from Urmston has been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and has been bailed until March pending further enquiries.

Around 8.10pm on Friday 27 December 2013, a 20-year-old woman was walking along Stamford Road in Urmston towards the train station with her friends when she became aware of a man behind them.

She turned around and saw a man was exposing himself. The group quickened their pace while the man continued to walk behind them. The woman and her friends then ran before they lost sight of him and called police.

Anyone with information should call police on 0161 856 7655 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
