CCTV image of Yarm Burglary

Police have released CCTV images showing a burglary at the Co-op Service Station, Low Lane, Yarm at around 1:50am on Saturday 10th January.

A group of three men wearing dark clothing with their faces covered were seen to get out of a white estate car. The men then forced the front door of the shop and once inside stole a large amount of cigarettes and a small quantity of alcohol.

Officers believe the men were disturbed by a taxi pulling into the service station so that a man could use the cash machine. They are keen to trace this man as he could hold vital clues as to the identity of the criminals.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Greg Hodgson on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
