Boy 16 stabbed undergoes emergency surgery

A 16-year-old boy has been stabbed in the arm in Manchester.

At about 3.50 pm on Saturday 4 January 2014, police were called to a car park on Ducie Street following reports of a disturbance.

Officers attended and found that a 16-year-old boy had suffered a serious puncture wound to the arm and required emergency surgery on his injury.

It is believed one man is responsible who police are asking to make contact with them at the earliest opportunity on 101.
